Cupprimo is the brainchild of Amy Closson. She wanted to create a unique family-friendly environment with best-in-class cupcakes and amazing coffee with a sassy vibe.

Cupprimo is an Austin original that opened its doors in 2008. Since then, Cupprimo has been featured on television, in local publications and even introduced itself nationally on Food Networks’ Cupcake Wars.

Cupprimo bakes everything fresh each morning and offers three sizes of cupcakes, six & eight inch two-layer cakes, fresh morning quiche and a full array of drinks including a full coffee bar, Nitro, frappes, Italian sodas, and smoothies. They also offer all the milk alternatives.

Each day of the week there are at least 12 different flavors of cupcakes, four different flavors of Gluten free cupcakes and vegan/dairy free options can be ordered in advance.

This “Mom and Pop” shop continues to grow and innovate. It is truly a family business with all five of Amy’s children being present or past team members.

Cupprimo is continuing to grow with a line of Cupprimo Sprinkles available as well as an upcoming children’s book written by Brad about our cupcakes. When not at the store, you can find this duo sipping margaritas with two limes and seeing every movie.
